By participating in CTLS' "23 things" project, I was forced to put my excuses aside and get on with it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Web 2.0 has opened a door for libraries to move into the 21st century in a fun and creative way. I am excited about learning new ways to introduce the library to the public, sharing information with others in the simplist way possible, and having fun in the process.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone who has spent much time in Louisiana knows that the French word, lagniappe, means "a little something extra." Lagniappe is an unexpected gift such as a free book included with a vendor's catalog or a thirteenth cookie when you have ordered a dozen.
